Today the Washington, D.C. council finally voted to support marriage equality.

Mayor Adrian Fenty of D.C. promised to sign the civil rights bill, but U.S. Congress needs to listen to our voices of equality and urge them to respect the City of D.C.'s decision.

Send the letter below to our U.S. Congress because they are the only ones that can decide the major fate of this civil rights bill.

DC Marriage Equality

Dear President Obama and Members of Congress,

I urge you to respect the decision of the D.C. city council in validly recognizing marriage equality at the United States capitol, now and in the future. Thank you for understanding.

Signed,
