Urge Talbots to Help End Australian Lamb Mutilation Today

Urge Talbots to Help End Australian Lamb Mutilation Today
The Issue
Australian sheep need your help today! Please take a moment to urge women's fashion retailer Talbots to stop sourcing Australian wool until the cruel practice of lamb mutilation has ended once and for all.
Currently, millions of lambs in Australia are mutilated every year during a procedure called "mulesing." Many Australian farmers use shears to carve huge chunks of flesh from the sheep's backsides, while others use clamps similar to vise grips (known as "clips") to squeeze large chunks of skin tightly together until the flesh dies and rots off weeks later. Both forms of mulesing are extremely painful. They are also completely unnecessary because humane alternatives are available and in use.
Despite knowing about the suffering that these lambs endure, Talbots continues to source wool from Australia. PETA has reached out to Talbots numerous times about this important issue, but the company has failed to take meaningful action even though many of its competitors—including Liz Claiborne, H&M, HUGO BOSS, and Perry Ellis—have already done so.
Please take a few minutes to urge Talbots to help put an end to this cruelty today. Simply click here and fill out the form to send Talbots an urgent message.
Thank you for your support and for helping animals.
