Our nation’s lax food safety system has deadly consequences. Nine people died in the recent tainted-peanut outbreak, and countless others suffered terribly. Congress needs to know how important a strong food-safety system is to our families, which is why we’re bringing victims of food-borne illness to Washington this week to tell their horrific stories.
