Every 20 minutes, another child is diagnosed with autism. Millions of people are currently living with autism, with countless more to follow. Autism is treatable, but we need to increase the availability of health, education, residential and other support services for individuals and families living with autism.

1. Ensure that health care reform legislation includes coverage for the specific services that people with autism need including behavioral therapies.
2. Establish a national Autism Information and Referral Center so families can get information on what works.
