We are residents of the Byrd Park Neighborhood and we ask Richmond School Board Members to vote YES to the Rezoning Committee’s final recommendations as they relate to Byrd Park zoning. The recommendation would geographically unify the Byrd Park Neighborhood for the first time in many years, and would zone our neighborhood children for William Fox Elementary School. The final rezoning report also recommends closing John B. Cary Elementary School, however, if the decision is made to keep Cary open, we ask that the neighborhood be geographically unified at Cary, rather than remain divided as it is in current zoning.
