MAIN STREET IS TO BIG TO FAIL
We the people of the United States of America are in A State of Emergency. Unemployment Extension Tier V needs to be passed "NOW"
President Obama mentioned that he is willing to pass a bill to Extend Unemployment benefits for the rest of this year. Though, we won’t know until June 2ND.
In addition, they are "HOPING" to pass a bill to get benefits to those under Tier 5. No rush to push this idea because like we all know, Main street is by no means as important as Wall-street, Case in point Did you know that Obama is Pushing Sneaky Wall Street Bailout? Yeah I know unreal, Go read it for yourself...http://tinyurl.com/2c2z8d9
The U.S. Department of Labor reports that the Unemployment rate is around 9.9%, and this only takes into consideration the people who are on unemployment -not those who have exhausted benefits...http://tinyurl.com/t68g
If Tier 5 legislation is passed, the true unemployment numbers would be reflected and the rate would go into double digits and That would look bad during an election year. I am sad to say that Tier 5 might have already been transformed into a political football. I hope I'm wrong
1 Million people will have exhausted their benefits and still have no job. Look at what Senate Finance Committee Chairman Max Baucus, of Montana, whose panel oversees the benefits program, Had to say about the unemployed.“You can’t go on forever,” “I think 99 weeks is sufficient,”... reports Business Week.
We Need as many signatures as possible to become one loud voice, So If you are in need of Tier 5 Unemployment Extension, or if you simply feel that it's not OK to forget about millions of unemployed Americans, please sign the petition.
The Fierce Urgency of Now is upon us.

Congress gears up for jobless, Cobra extensions May 18th, 2010, 1:00 am ·
Congress is getting ready to debate a bill that would extend unemployment benefits and the COBRA health insurance premium subsidy through the end of the year for the more recently unemployed.
The new six-month extension — H.R. 4213 — would replace the current emergency legislation passed last month that expires June 2. It would not add any more time to the maximum 99 weeks of unemployment benefits currently available but would allow those who lost their jobs more recently to be eligible for the four tiers of extensions and so called FedEd.
House members reportedly will take up the unemployment extension this week — perhaps as soon as Wednesday — as part of a $140 billion tax bill.
Meanwhile, a grass roots campaign is underway to provide a fifth tier of benefits to those who have exhausted the 99 weeks now available.
The National Employment Law Project has a proposed letter to send to members of Congress urging the new extension of benefits be approved.
