During a protest on the campus of UC Davis eleven students who were sitting on the ground unarmed engaging in a peaceful protest were pepper sprayed by Lieutenant John Pike. Shocking videos of the protest show Lieutenant Pike casually walking grimed faced spraying the students without just cause. Ten students were arrested and eleven were treated for the effects of the pepper spray of which two had to receive treatment at the hospital. Although Lt. Pike was put on administrative leave, it is not enough, his actions were deplorable and a violation of those students constitutional rights and should be fired from the UC Davis Police Department! Please sign this petition in support of the students and all who are standing for change!
