Educating Americans especially the disadvantaged who benefit from TRIO Programs like Upward Bound help America to move forward. As one economist puts it " we are only 56 meals away from anarchy." As Covey says "You teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.".....that is what TRIO does for students and their families. TRIO is not only saving individuals but saving communities.
