Greetings,

The “inhumane” to say the least, but no means the most brutal way of strays’ population control in India has become worldwide knowledge by now!
To beat the defenseless animals with iron bars to cripple them first in order to catch them easier, just to kill them afterwards or to abandon them outside the city to die of starvation, is totally unacceptable!
It is very sad that this brutality was allowed to go on in spite of the local residents’ protests!

From India, the “oldest democracy” in the world, we accept nothing less, than strict adherence to animal protection laws, to stop such barbaric acts with immediate effect and to consider spaying/neutering as the only means humanely acceptable!

Democracy without compassion is hollow and void!
