Iran's professed reason for its nuclear program is to generate home-grown electricity in order to reduce its reliance on foreign sources. So, as part of the nuclear negotiations, the P5+1 group should offer to provide funding for alternative sources of energy such as solar and wind, which have huge potential for electricity generation particularly in Iran's large desert regions.

This would have the added benefit of generating truly clean energy, without nuclear waste, the risk of meltdown, or proliferation concerns. If the Iranians don't accept this offer, it would reveal something of their true intentions.
