Finding a job in the current economy is difficult enough without many companies now weeding out applicants by whether or not they are *currently* employed. Such a practice should be illegal.
By signing this petition, I am citing my support for the "no discrimination against unemployed applicants" clause of President Obama's Jobs Act, and ask that Congress codify banning the practice by passing a Federal Law prohibiting it.
Discrination against unemployed job applicants should be illegal.
Greetings,
I just signed the following petition addressed to: President Obama and Members of Congress.
