Because I find this question in any job interview environment illegal due to issues of privacy invasion, network security violations, and blackmailing. Not to mention that it shouldn't be a requirement that job seekers have to put out a friend request to someone who works in the company's human resources department that already have a profile in Facebook, Twitter, or any of the social network websites.
