I live in Burley, Idaho. I have been with my "wife" for almost 4 years. Most of the people in my town are very kind to us and accept us as people. I don't understand why, if a small town in IDAHO can accept us and recognize us as a married couple, the United States can not. I do not understand how this is still even an issue in 2012. I am starting a petition to make marriage legal everywhere in the United States. This is the land of the free and the home of the brave. I'm here standing tall, so where is my freedom?Stand tall and proud! We will NOT be ignored! We will NOT be silenced, and we will NOT settle! Civil Unions are just a way to to pacify!
