The right to keep and bear arms and the ability to defend yourself should not stop because an employer prohibits firearms on its property.

We respectfully request the Arkansas Legislature to give thorough consideration to a bill that will allow the citizens of Arkansas to keep lawfully possessed firearms inside their vehicle while parked on employer parking facilities even if the business owner prohibits the possession of firearms on their property. Furthermore, any such bill should prohibit disciplinary action against any employee for keeping a firearm in their vehicle while on the employers parking facility.
