The parking lot at 1630 Hancock Street (formerly Blockbuster, soon to be Good Health's new location) has long been used by motorists to speedily cut through and avoid the light at the Firestone intersection. Good Health is already employing people to watch the lot, increasing safety for shoppers and their vehicles as well as deterring motorist from using it as a way to cut the light. Good Health would like to put a parking booth up to give their employees a safer place to stand in inclement weather and to be more visible to those that may require the lot attendant's assistance.
