We all know about outsourcing, but recently Master Lock has reversed the trend bringing 3 dozen jobs from China back to the United States. It is good news for Milwaukee, Master Lock's headquarters, which lost over 80 percent of its manufacturing jobs from 1977 and 2002. It also means 3 dozen fewer workers are toiling in sweatshops; instead the workers in Milwaukee are unionized and enjoy decent wages and good benefits.
Please take a minute to write to Master Lock and thank them for bring these jobs home, and ask them to continue rejecting sweatshop and bring more jobs back to the USA. This could be the start of a positive trend.

Thank Your for Bringing Jobs Back to the USA
Dear Mr. Heppner
I am writing to thank you for bringing about 3 dozen jobs from China back to the United States and to encourage you to bring even more jobs back home. Your decision is inspring and I can only hope it is the beginning of a wider trend in manufacturing in our country.
By moving jobs from China to the United States your company has taken a step away from sweatshops that abuse their workers and toward jobs that support families with decent wages and quality benefits. You are also helping Milwaukee, the city your company has calle home since 1921. Unfortunately Milwaukee lost 80 percent of its manufacturing jobs between 1977 and 2002, but if more companies follow your lead they could breathe new life into cities like Milwaukee.
Again, I wish to thank you for your decision to bring jobs back to the United States. Please don't stop now! Your company can set a trend and be an inspiration to other companies.
