Sign this petition to show the City of Jacksonville and Mayor Peyton your support for firing Turner Construction from the Jacksonville Courthouse Project. Over one quarter of the employees that Turner Construction has employed on this contract were found to be illegal workers. This is wrong , and in fact a breach of contract between Turner and the City of Jacksonville.

Dear Mayor Peyton,

We the concerned citizens of the Greater Jacksonville area ask that you immediately terminate Turner Construction from all city related projects including the Courthouse. Over 25% of the workers on the courthouse project under Turner have been found to be illegal. Allowing this company to continue working on this project only reinforces the idea that you and the City of Jacksonville are not committed to hiring legal workers.

Show us you are committed to hiring only legal workers to work on city projects by terminating Turner Construction, and giving another company the chance to complete this project while following laws and contract provisions and hiring only legal workers. Thank You.
