Tell the EPA: Make Power Plants Clean Up Their Act
The Issue
Doctors, nurses, and public health officials agree: industrial carbon pollution threatens the health of all Americans, particularly our children. Left unchecked, carbon pollution will cause warming and an increase in dangerous smog, which will trigger more episodes of respiratory distress in children and seniors — and cause premature deaths.
We need to fight for the health of our children and families. Fortunately, the EPA is developing standards that would limit industrial carbon pollution from power plants — and they'll be seeking public comments before taking final action.
