Not only has Target given $150,000 to MN Forward, an anti-gay group, but their CEO Gregg Steinhafel also gave $10,000 to Michele Bachmann this past April. Money donated to MN Forward has ended up in the campaign accounts of Tom Emmer who is a radical candidate for Minnesota Governor.

What is especially troubling is that Target has been seen as a LGBT friendly company in the past. Allowing company executives to support such right-wing extremists as Michele Bachmann is another red flag.

In the wake of Citizens United, corporations must be held accountable by consumers when they make poor decisions. Corporations will listen when confronted by those who spend their hard earned money at their places of business.

Join us in sending an email to Target expressing your concern about their most recent political donations. We cannot afford to patronize companies that preach inclusiveness but take actions that promote intolerance.
