Cranberries are a holiday treat that are good and good for you. But when grown commercially, cranberries are often doused in various pesticides. The Pesticide Action Network found 13 different pesticides on cranberries, some of which were neurotoxins and known carcinogens. Plus, cranberry bogs frequently discharge pesticide-laden water to nearby waterways. 

Consumers should have an organic choice. Ocean Spray cranberry growers comprise more than half of the cranberry market, yet the Ocean Spray brand fails to offer a single, organic product.

We all love cranberries this time of year. However, consumers want to be sure that we are doing the best thing for our bodies, our families, and the planet when we go grocery shopping. Ocean Spray is a huge name in the cranberry market, with products ranging from juice to instant oatmeal. Yet the company fails to offer a single, organic option. The organic market has grown substantially in recent years. Why has Ocean Spray not responded to this?

A recent Pesticide Action Network study found 13 different pesticides on cranberry samples, some of them known or probable carcinogens. Consumers don't want to be afraid of your cranberry products. Please immediately take steps to offer organic lines of your products.
