Why This Is Important

Max Mara Fashion Group, an Italian company with more than 2,300 stores in 90 countries including the United States, is one of the biggest retail companies worldwide, and sadly it continues to feature real animal fur in its collections year after year.

It is absurd that with all the well documented animal suffering that the fur trade industry creates, a company like Max Mara still promotes such senseless suffering.

Unfortunately, even in the 21 Century, Max Mara has not recognized the importance of animal welfare nor acknowledged their direct contribution to an atrocious and unnecessary industry, by selling fur.

Because shopping with compassion is a top issue for intelligent, fashion-conscious customers, forgoing the use of real fur would be a natural step for Max Mara, but that is not the case.

There is nothing fashionable about senseless cruelty to animals and we will boycott your stores until the company adopts a fur-free policy as other compassionate retailers have done.
