As a woman, I feel it is my right to have access to birth control regardless of my age. Plan B One Step has proven to be safe and effective, yet the HHS overturned the FDA's plan to allow all women of reproductive age access without a prescription. Every year thousands of teen girls find themselves in need of Plan B and are already scared and and embarressed as it is. Allow young women to protect themselves and their bodies, give all women equal access to the resources they need!

I just signed the following petition addressed to: Health and Human Services Department.

It has come to my attention that the FDA's recommendation for Plan B to be sold without a prescription to all women of reproductive age has been overturned. This deeply troubles me. Every year thousands of teen girls find themselves in need of Plan B, which has been proven to be safe and effective. The young women who need Plan B are already scared and and embarressed as it is, especially if they are in their teens, why punish them further by forcing them to discuss such a private matter with another person or to confront a pharmacist who feels it is againts their moral or religious values to give them the Plan B? Allow young women to protect themselves and their bodies, give all women equal access to the resources they need!
