Arizona’s Medicaid program recently eliminated funding for the following organ transplants: liver for diagnosis of hepatitis C, lung, pancreas only, pancreas after kidney, heart for non-ischemic cardiomyopathy, and unrelated bone marrow transplants which affect blood cancer patients. Two people, including one person with hepatitis C, have since died and many others are scrambling to fundraise on their own for these lifesaving procedures. This policy has been denounced by national transplantation organizations.

Please sign this petition to demand that Arizona Governor Jan Brewer work with the State Legislature to immediately restore funding for these transplants and end this inhumane policy.
