About this Petition Pledge

Giving birth shouldn't be a cause of death. Women should give birth with a trained attendant, in a safe and comfortable place. Around the world, a woman dies in childbirth every minute. If we are going to change this, people need to understand the risks of childbirth, and how they can be reduced.

I pledge to tell others about how to make motherhood safer.
