I recently called Planned Parenthood to schedule an annual exam (which I haven't had in four years - I am 41 years old, self employed and unable to afford health insurance.) I understand that there have been "Komen funds" available to assist people in my position to get critical health care. I now understand that the Susan G. Komen foundation is stopping this funding to Planned Parenthood. This is unconscionable and a huge hit to women's healthcare options. I hope others will join me in urging the Susan G. Koman Foundation to reinstate it's funding for Planned Parenthood. Please fight to support women's health, especially for the millions of women who are un-insured and under-insured. Planned Parenthood continues to support us, and so should the Susan G. Komen foundation.
