This petition is to support the industrial hemp farming act of 2011. This crop would be beneficial statewide and nation wide for the enviroment and the economy. Hemp is a great alternative for fibers and fuel. The low amount of THC in the strain of hemp used to make fibers leaves very little potential for abuse.

Support the industrial hemp farming act of 2011

Greetings,

Industrial hemp is so versatile and beneficial to our enviroment. Hemp can be used to make paper, fabric, rope, and can even be used as fuel. Hemp adds nutrients to the soil while yeilding 3 times for fiber per acre than cotton, and produces more ethanal per acre than corn. This fiber has been important throughout history, the US would not be the Country it is today and our founding presidents knew it was an important crop for our future. Industrial hemp has very low amounts of THC so the potential for abuse is low to neil. Please sign this petition to legalize the farming of industrial hemp, it will boost the economy, add jobs to the workforce, and be beneficial to the enviroment.

Thank you
