On November 17, 2010, Congressman Ron Paul stood up to Congress and the TSA and said enough is enough! He proposed for the sake of the American people.. and sanity.. the American Traveler Dignity Act.

This act addresses the abusive and invasive searches now being conducted by the TSA every time you and your children board a plane.

In essence, the American Traveler Dignity Act states that government officials, expressly the TSA, should not be removed from responsibility for doing such things that for anyone else would be illegal. In this case, forcing people, including children, to either have naked pictures taken of them or to be sexually assaulted by groping in order to board a plane.

I understand we all want to be safe in the skies. But what happened to "reasonable search", such as metal detectors and X-rays of luggage? What happened to the 4th amendment, which protects us against "unreasonable search"? What the TSA is doing now goes far BEYOND reasonable search! We may want to be safe as we fly, but shouldn't we... and our children, be safe from sexual assault as well? Should we really be assaulted and have naked pictures of ourselves and our children taken for "the good of the people"?

Enough is ENOUGH!!!!!

Support the American Traveler Dignity Act!

Greetings,

On November 17, 2010, Congressman Ron Paul stood up to Congress and the TSA and said enough is enough! He proposed for the sake of the American people.. and sanity.. the American Traveler Dignity Act. We are demanding you to join him in support of this Act!!

But what happened to "reasonable search", such as metal detectors, regular pat downs and X-rays of luggage? What happened to the 4th amendment, which protects us against "unreasonable search"? What the TSA is doing now goes far BEYOND reasonable search! We may want to be safe as we fly, but shouldn't we... and our children, be safe from sexual assault as well? Should we really be assaulted and have naked pictures of ourselves and our children taken for "the good of the people"?

As a representative of the people, it is YOUR job to protect us and our children from abusive practices by the government. Its is also your job to uphold the Constitution! What the TSA is doing is a violation of the 4th amendment. It is also a violation of logic! Do you really wish to support what is essentially child pornography and sexual assault? NO? Then we expect your full support of the American Travelers Dignity Act!
