<p><a href='http://www.enterprisecommunity.org/'>Enterprise Community Partners</a> and <a href='http://www.enterprisecommunity.com/'>Enterprise Community Investment</a> are proud to take the lead in a unique effort to raise funds and public awareness for affordable housing. Enterprise has formed a twelve-person team to run the <a href='http://www.hoodtocoast.com/'>Hood-to-Coast Relay</a> in Oregon, the largest relay race in the world. This year will be Enterprise's 13th year of running this relay to benefit community development. Enterprise has set an ambitious but achievable goal to raise at least $50,000 for a worthy non-profit organization in Washington, <a href='http://www.change.org/low_income_housing_institute/projects/fundraising/running_for_shelter_-_enterprises_hood_to_coast_relay_team_2'>Low Income Housing Institute (LIHI)</a>. In 2008 we raised over $50,000! We hope you'll join us in reaching our goal for 2009.<br /><br /><b>About Hood to Coast</b><br />This year marks the 27th anniversary running of the Hood-to-Coast Relay, a 197-mile race from Timberline Lodge on Oregon's Mt. Hood to the coastal town of Seaside. The race will be held August 28th and 29th with 1,000 teams participating, totaling 12,000 runners<b>.</b>&nbsp; The race runs continuously through the night as each runner runs a total of three 5-6 mile legs.&nbsp; While we have no ambition of finishing with the fastest teams in less than 17 hours, we do hope to lead the way in raising funds for affordable housing.</p>
