Poaching of wolves in Washington State is a growing issue. Poachers have killed at least one member of the new pack that has taken up residence in Washington State. The Lookout Pack, the first pack to live in Washington since the 1930's, has already lost two of the pack members; one was investigated by wildlife officials when a bloody wolf hide was discovered in a FedEx box. The poachers should be careful; the killing of an endangered animal can bring a fine of up to $100,000 and a year in prison.
Wolf Poaching
Dear Representative
I have currently heard of the wolf poaching that is happening. I beg of you to oppose the wolf poaching in Washington State, and to fine the poachers for their illegal activities. Some of these wolfs have been here for decades, and do not deserve the harsh deaths they are getting.
Thank you for your time and consideration,
