Westboro Baptist Church, located in Topeka, Kansas, is known for their extreme stance against homosexuality.  They have done many protests with signs stating "God Hates Fags" and "Fags Doom Nations", at places such as funerals.  Westboro Baptist is a hate group who are committing hate crimes such as verbal abuse and insults by degrading homosexuals in the most inappropriate ways.

Recently someone from the Westboro Baptist community created a Tumblr targeting and insulting young lgbtqa users of the site in the most extreme fashion.  Luckily their blog was taken down after many harassment reports.  As Americans, the Westboro Baptist Church has the right to voice their opinions about what they believe is right or wrong, but they have gone too far by turning into a hate group.  We need to bring attention to and stop their extreme ways.

We must act NOW to stop future extreme hate from the Westboro Baptist community.  Please join in signing this petition.

As Americans, we all have the right to voice our opinions. The Westboro Baptist Church, a community widely know as a hate group, has gone too far with voicing their opinions about what they believe is right and wrong. Many Americans would like the Westboro Baptist's extreme hate to stop.

The Westboro Baptist community protests their hate against homosexuality, troops, Obama, and America itself in the most extreme and degrading fashion. They have protested at many funerals with signs stating "God Hates Fags", "Thank God For 9/11", and "God Hates America". They also believe that President Obama is "the Antichrist". Westboro Baptist Church should not be shut down seeing as they have the right to voice their opinions, but their protests need to stop (or do not need to be in such an extreme manor). Recently someone from the Westboro Baptist community created a Tumblr targeting and insulting young lgbtqa users of the site in the most extreme fashion. Luckily their blog was taken down after many harassment reports. This is unacceptable for them to be talking to people, especially young people, in the way they have calling them "fags" and "whores". I wish their blog was still up so I could provide the hate content they were publicizing.

The actions of Westboro Baptist Church are discriminatory and are classified as hate crimes. Please help to stop their harshness against America and its citizens.
