STOP THE DEPORTAION AND GRANT HIS MOTION TO RECONSIDER A 073718649

Greetings,

I just signed the following petition addressed to: ICE

----------------
Rodolfo Mendez (A# 73 718 649) escaped to the United States from Guatemala when he was 18 years old, after his father was found poisoned and killed. Rodolfo was threatened with death if he didn't join a guerilla that wanted to recruit him, and members told him that if he returned to Guatemala, he would be killed.

Since then, Rodolfo has lived in the U.S. for more than 17 years and is married to a U.S. citizen. His wife suffers from several serious health conditions, and depends on Rodolfo's care and financial support. Rodolfo is also a loving stepfather to his son, a hardworker, and has never had any criminal charges.

Rodolfo is an active member of the Lighthouse Word of Life Ministry and a volunteer who regularly feeds the homeless and volunteers time to repair the church.

Rodolfo Mendez meets the Department of Homeland Security guidelines for low priority: He is married to a U.S. citizen, has no criminal record, and long-standing ties to the community. We ask that you exercise prosecutorial discretion and stop the deportation of Rodolfo.
