Stop prosecuting our child who are victims of exploitation.

Children are brought into this world through various ways; from poverty, loss of family member or parent.  Children have been neglected in the eyes of the justice system.  When does an 11 year old girl should be faulted by what she wears, when a grown man or woman sexually exploits a child?  By prosecution, do you not realize that if they are prosecuted more than once even before the age of 18, they would be required by law to register as a sex offender.  Do we tell rape victims to register as a sex offender? 

Why are our babies in the US being prosecuted as a prostitute, when they are still our youth?  I didn't realize an 11 year old could vote, or have employment, have their own housing and have marriage.  If we develop child labor laws to protect these children from being migrant slaves in the US, why aren't they being protected through sexual exploitation?  Is it a child's fault they they were brought into this world through poverty and negative circumstances?  For years we've seen remarkable human beings who have overcome obstacles of negative foster care, abusive homes and parental abandonment and neglect, but having to call these adults heroes is fine, but to continue the cycle of enslaving our own children?  Why do we go overseas to protect and rescue a child through church mission groups, organizations and institution, instead of building a positive and incentive community here in our own backyard?  I am asking you, please sign this petition and help me make a difference even if it's once child at a time.  Give him/her a chance to LIVE, to laugh, to be a kid and enjoy LIFE.
