stop gassing animals

The state of Alabama still actively allows animals in shelters to be put down in gas chambers. Pets who enter these shelters run a very high risk of being placed into a metal box with 15 to 20 other dogs and having poisonous gases pumped inside that can often take between 25 to 45 minutes to end their lives. If you have never seen video of what a gas chamber killing looks and sounds like, you can watch the video on the left which shows the before and after of an actual batch of dogs being put to sleep in a gas chamber. Can you just imagine how horrible that must be? Being suffocated and poisoned, just because you have no home ? just because within the time frame you were given and location your at, you werent adopted ?

Alabama still allows gassing of their animals this type of euthanization is barbaric, inhumane and wrong. Animals dont need to go through this kind of suffering just because they werent given the proper timing to get adopted. I feel as though,"Hey this pup is having no luck in this location, why not send him to another one". Because maybe just maybe he will get adopted else where. There are people out there who want to give pets a home, so thats not a problem, the problem is within our efforts to find them a home.

Stop this cruel way of putting down animals, It's not right.
