We tell our children to 'JUST SAY NO" then send the message that anything and everything can be cured with drugs.

It's time to JUST SAY NO to the reckless greed of the drug companies and the media corporations that take their money!

Greetings,

Television viewing households are inundated with ads by the drug companies encouraging us, and our children, to pop a pill for whatever ails us. Often in the same commercial break there is an ad for a legal firm bringing a class action suit against these same companies on behalf of people who have been harmed by the use of ill regulated, hastily marketed pharmaceuticals.

We tell our children to 'JUST SAY NO" then send the message that anything and everything can be cured with drugs.

I am asking you, America's leaders and representatives to step up and take action. We are fast becoming a nation addicted to immediate gratification and with this comes a decline in our willingness to seek solutions that have real and lasting effects. Drug ads on television expose our children to yet another source that advocates passivity and teaches them nothing about self empowerment and healthy choices.

It's time to JUST SAY NO to the reckless greed of the drug companies and the media corporations that take their money!
