About this Petition Petition Letter

If you want peace, you must dismantle the most destructive weapons of war, at minimum.  Yet, the former Bush administration launched a $150 billion program to rebuild the US nuclear weapons complex and return production capacity to Cold War levels.  Included was funding for a new plant to produce the new weapons.  This is unnecessary, adds woefully to our swollen national debt, and will serve to stimulate more nuclear weapon development in other countries.  They must be stopped!

Hi. If you want peace, you must dismantle the most destructive weapons of war, at minimum. Yet, the former Bush administration launched a $150 billion program to rebuild the US nuclear weapons complex and return production capacity to Cold War levels. This is unnecessary, adds woefully to our swollen national debt, and will serve to stimulate more nuclear weapon development in other countries. They must be stopped!
