Museums are a place to learn, but the Staten Island Children's Museum is letting Ringling Bros Circus use its venue as a promotional tool for the circus on Friday, February 17. This is the same circus which was fined $270,000 for allegedly violating the Animal Welfare Act on several occasions from June 2007 to August 2011, according to a USDA news release.

Kids care about animals and want them to be protected, not beaten with sharp metal bullhooks and chained up as they're taken across the country to perform stupid tricks.

If you need proof of Ringling's cruel training methods you can see baby elephants being beaten as well as adults being abused. http://www.ringlingbeatsanimals.com/

Please tell the museum to cancel this event and any future partnerships with the circus.

You can also call to express your concern 718-273-2060.

Greetings,

I just signed the following petition addressed to: Staten Island Children's Museum.

Stop Promoting Ringling Bros Circus

Museums are a place to learn, but the Staten Island Children's Museum is letting Ringling Bro's Circus use its venue as a promotional tool for the circus.

We urge you not to align yourself with an institution with a history of abusing animals.

Sincerely,
