This is a food revolution. All it will take is a little initiative from people who believe that the safest, healthiest, and indeed tastiest food comes from local producers, within 100 miles or so of where you live. This revolt will not only require you to support those local farmers and producers who contribute organic, healthy foods to your community, it will require you to become one of those local producers. Don't laugh off the idea (don't worry, I'm not a farmer either, I live in an apartment complex in a metro of 800,000 or so people). How can I expect you to become a food producer?
