I will not remain silent when the topic of sexual violence arises.  I will not allow others to change the subject when the conversation is about sexual violence.  I will confront the myths that perpetuate the occurence of sexual violence.  I will speak to friends and families about the importance of discussing this issue.  I will acknowledge that sexual violence is an epidemic that affects everyone.  I will educate myself about the dynamics of sexual violence so that I may create change.  I will not let the silence that surrounds sexual violence continue any longer.
