Th NYDA has not accounted to young people and have abused their authority. They give untested figures about how many youth they have assisted but are not willing to give solid evidence or subject themselves to a youth driven public audit.

Over the 2010 & 2011 they have received R500million but have not given account of themselves. Now they want R1bn! They also hosted a very controversial "kiss-festival" through which several corporate governance principles are reported to be violated. These include allegations that the CEO having gave a R22millions tender to a family relative & the NYDA spending twice as much on salary than it does on funding entrepreneurs.
