Hunger is real in our nation’s capital. One in three households with children in D.C. have struggled at some point in the past two years to put enough food on the table to feed the whole family.

Winter is an especially difficult time in Washington D.C., as strapped families face additional costs like warm clothing and high energy bills. With cost of living and food prices on the rise, more and more families need extra support to feed their families the meals they need to maintain health and strength.
