Ministers and priests are using their pulpits to push political campaigns.  These campaigns are discriminatory against certain groups, ie women and lesbians & gays.  The campaigns are also counter productive to medical advances such as stem cell research.

Greetings,

The dividing line between church and state is getting grayer and grayer. Ministers and priests are using their pulpits and even lobbyists in Washington to push discriminatory political campaigns.

If churches want to have a voice in government, they should be subject to the same monetary responsibilities as other citizens and groups.

I urge you to initiate legislation requiring any church that wants to become politically active to pay their fair share of taxes.
