Save Lug & Marley, German Shepherd Dogs That Were Protecting Their Home

The Issue

Kelso, WA: Please do not punish Lug and Marley, the two German Shepherd dogs owned by Ingrid Sacha, for doing exactly what humans have not only relied upon our canine companions to do for centuries, but also bred them to do – protect us and our homes from threats and intruders.

Elizabeth Elder, a neighbor, entered the home of Ingrid Sacha, uninvited and unannounced, when Ms. Sacha was not home. Lug and Marley did exactly what they were supposed to do – they protected their territory. Now Ms. Elder wants these dogs put down, and the Court is considering doing so. Although Ms. Sacha has been fined for the dogs running loose, they have never displayed any dangerous tendencies.

Many people rely on their animal companions for protection – of their home, property and family. We cannot allow these two dogs to be destroyed for doing exactly what they were supposed to. Please sign this petition and make sure this does not happen to any more of our animal companions.
