It doesn't appear you really want "help from the community to identify the unique abilities, leadership qualities and experience desired in the chief executive of the district." Instead, this appears to be just another exercises in futility so you can make an illegitimate claim that you are serious about listening to our input. It's more like a P.R. stunt to gather a few sound-bites, and quickly get back to the things that you obviously consider as being more important than listening to us. The idea of allotting parents, grandparents, students, guardians, educators, and other tax-paying community members "three minutes" to address decision-makers regarding a topic as important as this one, i.e., One of the most important decisions that this board will make during the coming year, is ludicrous and insulting. This is not an example of serious, qualitative and/or quantitative input into a decision that is likely to impact our children's lives for generations to come.

We the undersigned demand to be heard however long it takes to make you understand our concerns. You played this game on your own the last time and failed. We should think you would welcome common sense.
