It is federal law that no employer can retailiate against an employee that has been injuried, yet many times this is repeated over and over again in the work enviroments that mandy Americans work in.  Then you are face with a time frame that is set that a person can apply for workers compensation, which needs to be changed.  If an employee has an injury that makes them unable to get legal representation due to the injury then there needs to be a new law wrote that protects the employee.   There should be longer time periods that a person that has a injury to their head or trauma injury is protected.  Many Americans have been hurt on the jobs and the law is not protected them but protected the Corporations, Universites, etc.

Retailiation against American Injuried Employees

Greetings, President Obama

I have spoken with many Americans that are part of the workforce for America and people that have been a part of the workforce for America, but had to stop due to injuries. Injuries reduce when corporations, universites and places of employment follow the regulations of the EEOC. American's are hard workers, they want to provide for their families just like anyone else, yet when they get injuried on the job they are retailiated against, unable to get legal assistance, etc. If our representatives are for the American people then can you please enforce the laws for the employers and protect the American workers. Make all places of employment follow safety guidelines and quite letting them get by with environments that hurt their employees. Proper safety equipment and hazard guidelines for chemicals should be enforced and these places should be fined and have to play the fine if the proper guidelines are not followed. There are to many good people being hurt in America's workforce because the laws are not enforced. To make America a better place in the workforce then let's make it better at all levels of employment.

Thanks
Hope Gault
