Why This Is Important

PLEASE forward this link to any family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, etc.. who support the LGBT community.

CNN's "Black in America" and "Latin in America" series are educational documentaries that give voice for minority Americans. I believe CNN should also tell LGBT America's story in a similar style documentary that could open up dialogue and combat the misinformation spread about the LGBT community.

Feel free to personalize the comment and mention any issues that you think should be covered (racism in the gay community, discrimination in the workplace, Pride events, gay culture, gender identity, equal rights, bullying, HIV, activism, religious persecution, political figures, etc...)

CNN, I applaud your efforts to give voice to minorities in America via your Black in America and Latin in America series. I ask that you continue this work by highlighting the history and lives of LGBT Americans with a similar style documentary. I believe you have the faculties to educate your audience on LGBT issues and strongly urge you to consider this idea.
