The United States has issued stamps opposing alcoholism and support for breast cancer research, prostate cancer screening and sickle cell disease awareness. However, the U.S. is not among the 65 countries with an anti-smoking stamp.  It is time that this country joins others from around the world and recognize importance of tackling the tobacco pandemic by issuing such stamps.
