Repeal the Advance Nuclear Fee costing Floridians over a billion dollars

The Issue

In 2006, former legislator Frank Farkas voted to allow utility companies to charge Floridians in advance for new power plants. Experts say the plants may never be built, but the power companies will get to keep over $1 billion taken from hardworking families like ours.

It's not fair, it's not right, and it's happening because career politicians like Frank Farkas keep siding with special interests over middle-class Floridians. Farkas voted to raise your rates so utility corporations could rake in cash for themselves. Frankly, we can't afford more of that failed leadership.

Dwight Dudley, candidate for Florida House of Representatives District 68, is making this pledge to you: send him to the Florida House, and he will repeal the advance nuclear fee. You can join him by signing this petition and sending a message to Tallahassee that you want the fee repealed.
