In a nutshell, co founder of the renown Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee has been terminated by acting CEO, who has no prior experience with elephants; and by the Board of Directors.

No matter what has happened as far as personal differences of Sanctuary Staff and Board Members, Carol Buckley should not be stripped of her life's hard work, the elephant she raised from a baby, Tarra; and evicted from her home at the Sanctuary (grounds)

In honor of Carol Buckley and all she has accomplished, including TIME magazine's hero the year award, we the undersigned respectfully request reinstatement of Carol Buckley, mediation from the board of directors to work out any personal co-worker conflicts and grant her full access to the elephants she has poured her life's work into, particularly Tarra.
