Why This Is Important

Surely, you must be aware that Congress has debated health care reform for months, but, Americans have already decided.  By an overwhelming majority, we want a "robust public option" similar to Medicare which is: 1) based on Medicare rates, not negotiated rates, 2) nation-wide, with no state opt-outs, 3) administered by Medicare, not by a for-profit insurance company, 4) available immediately.  When I am asked for a contribution or other assistance, I will only support individual Democrats who support singlepayer Medicare for All (the cosponsors of House Resolution, H.R. 676, or, at minimum, pledge to vote against a bill without a strong public option.  Even "fiscally conservative" Democrats have no excuse for voting against a robust public option, because the Congressional Budget Office says it will save $110 billion.  Also, no trigger, because triggers don't get pulled.  As well, again, please, advocate for singlepayer healthcare, with Community First Choice Option and CLASS Act (Community Choice Act for the handicapped, elderly, autistic, disabled, etc.); H.R. 676 & S. 703, are the best of the lot, so far.

Please, Real Health Care Reform NOW

Dear Representative

Hi. Thanx. Goodbye.

Matutinally Yours,
