THERE NEEDS TO BE MORE HELP AND ASSISTANCE IN USA.  IT ALWAYS APPEARS THAT THERE ARE RESOURCES YET IT NEVER REACHES THE TRUE VICTIMS.  THERE NEED TO BE FUNDS AND RESOURCES THAT REACH VICTIMS AND NOT PADDING THE POCKETS OF THE SO CALLED ABUSE AGENCIES IN AMERICA.  MORE AVAILABILITY IN HOUSING OR HELP IN KEEPING PRESENT HOMES.  FOOD, EMPLOYMENT, CHILD CARE OR EMERGENCY FINANCES.  MORE ALSO NEEDS DONE IN THE MEDIA TO MAKE ALL AWARE OF THE SILENT VICTIMS RIGHT NEXT TO YOU. OCTOBER WAS DOMESTIC VIOLENCE MONTH AND I ONLY HEARD ABOUT RIHANNA NO ONE ELSE.  SHE IS BLESSED THAT SHE HAS THE INCOME TO LEAVE HER ABUSER BUT MOST WOMEN DON'T HAVE THOSE SAME OPTIONS.   NOT IN OTHER COUNTRIES BUT, RIGHT HERE IN AMERICA.  ALSO VICTIMS NEED MORE RESOURCES FOR LEGAL HELP AND COUNSELING TO SEE WHAT THEIR RIGHTS ARE NOT ALWAYS PROTECTING THE ABUSER AND HIS LIFE BUT, THE WOMEN AND CHILDREN INVOLVED.  PLEASE NOTIFY GOVT. LEGISLATION FOR VICTIMS HERE IN USA

ASSISTANCE FOR DOMESTIC ABUSE VICTIMS IN USA

Dear Decision Maker,

Please pass all legislation that would help domestic violence abuse victims here in America. They are silent victims for the most part until their partner kills them and then it is too late. Please also provide more accessible resources like affordable and easy access to housing, relocation if need be, or help victims to keep their present housing without having to turn back to abusers. We talk about abuse, but, rarely do much about it. Also, media please tell more stories about abused woman and what they endure on a daily basis. Not just Rihanna but others. She is blessed in that she has money and the opportunity to leave her abuser. Most woman in USA do not. Give us a hand up like employment opportunities and not stop employers from discriminating us when when we are trying to be independent. AND PLEASE CHECK INTO NATIONAL DOMESTIC SERVICES IT SEEMS THAT THE MONEY NEVER MAKES IT DOWN TO THE TRUE VICTIMS. IT SEEMS TO ONLY PAD THE POCKETS OF THOSE DOING THE FUND RAISING. We as women deserve to live in peace and have the same opportunities as everyone else. PLEASE DO ALL YOU CAN TO PROTECT US RIGHT HERE IN THE STATES. MORE NEEDS TO BE DONE AND WE ALSO NEED MORE LEGAL HELP THAT IS AFFORDABLE OR FREE. We want to live without daily threats, verbal put downs, physical abuse, fear of all fighting for our lives right in our own homes. MORE NEEDS DONE ASAP BEFORE MORE WOMAN AND CHILDREN LOOSE THIER LIVES NEEDLESSLY. And as I said, please check agencies, the money rarely makes it down to those that it is supposed to. To me that re victimizes woman all over again. And please offer police more SENSITIVITY TRAINING AS THEY LACK UNDERSTANDING AND USUALLY DEFEND THE MALE. AGAIN THAT IS RE VIVTIMIZING WOMAN ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY CALL 911 FOR HELP. HELP WOMEN HELP THEMSELVES. We deserve to live without daily fear and anxiety. Thanks for all your support and understanding.
